Edison State at Greenville

About Edison State at Greenville

In 1979, Edison State at Greenville opened in response to the College's commitment to provide affordable, high-quality education opportunities to students in Darke County and the surrounding areas. During its first quarter of operation in a rented facility, the location in Greenville enrolled 78 students in seven courses.

To accommodate increased enrollment, classes were expanded to several locations in the county, including Greenville High School and the Darke County Center. By 2000, the facilities’ capacity had been maximized, leading the College to move into its current location at 601 Wagner Avenue. The 2001 opening of the Wagner Avenue location provided the College with additional classrooms, computer labs and office space. This expanded floor space allows the campus to provide a wide range of student services and enrollment opportunities to residents in the area.

Edison State at Greenville currently serves over 800 students from the Darke County community.
