The Edison State at Eaton location has been open since the beginning of Spring Semester 2019, providing a high quality, affordable center of higher education for the Preble County community. Conveniently located on a shared campus with the Preble County YMCA and Kettering Health Network, Edison State is proud to partner with the Preble County Youth Foundation to respond to the unique needs of the region. Edison State at Eaton will focus on our Agriculture program, along with Associate of Science and Associate of Arts transfer degrees. In addition, Edison State at Eaton hosts a Central State University extension office and partners with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) to offer Adult Diploma and Aspire (GED) opportunities.

    College Credit Plus (CCP) offers a unique opportunity for students to enhance and further their educational and career objectives while still in high school. CCP students can earn college and high school credit concurrently, accelerating their college careers at no cost.

    Edison State at Eaton welcomes students from all high schools in the county and is committed to providing the highest quality education and service to students, guidance counselors, teachers and administrators. We have an Enrollment Manager/CCP Advisor working out of several county schools, and who is available at area high schools at designated times. Speak to your guidance counselor for available times.

    Several programs can be completed in full at the Edison State at Eaton location utilizing a combination of in-class and online course work. Complete your associate degree, certificate or short-term technical certificate without leaving the county! Transfer options are also available at the Eaton Campus. Students can take advantage of a substantial savings in tuition by completing their first 60 credit hours in Eaton before transferring to a four-year college or university.      

    NOTE  All admission and financial aid requirements must be met and adhered to.

    Short-Term Technical Certificates

    Important: Federal Financial Aid is not available for Short-Term Technical Certificate programs, but scholarship assistance may be available. Students pursuing a Short-Term Technical Certificate may need to satisfy course prerequisites which may include placement testing.
