Edison State Community College will present a special program on Wednesday, April 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Robinson Theater at the Piqua Campus in recognition of Administrative Professionals Day. The event, which occurs annually, salutes the contributions of office support staff throughout the area.

The program is open to all office support professionals, including administrative assistants, executive assistants, office managers, and other employees who provide secretarial or administrative support for one or multiple supervisors. Edison State encourages supervisors and managers of those administrative professionals to attend with their valued employees.

This year’s program includes networking, lunch, and door prizes. Tommy Renfro, Learning and Development Manager at Shook Construction, will present a dynamic workshop titled “AI for Administrative Professionals: Boosting Efficiency with ChatGPT.” Specifically designed for administrative professionals, this session will teach attendees how to harness AI to simplify tasks, spark creativity, and maximize productivity.
