The Edison Stagelight Players will present George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion,” directed by Edison State Professor of English William Loudermilk. The play is about Eliza Doolittle, a lower-class flower girl who speaks with a Cockney accent, and Henry Higgins, a higher-class man who believes he can change her accent and pass her off as a duchess.
The production of “Pygmalion” will include performances on Friday, April 4; Saturday, April 5; and Sunday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Performances will also be held on Monday, April 7, at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Tickets for the show are $10 for adults or $5 for students and seniors.
