A Law Degree: Unlocking Opportunities
Sabra's journey involved returning to school as an older student, graduating and transferring to pursue a law degree, and juggling work and family responsibilities. She attributes her achievements to the encouragement and mentorship she received at Edison State and encourages current students to embrace discomfort and seek out supportive mentors.
The Office of Alumni Engagement hosts the Alumni Experience Series at Edison State Community College. All events in the series areFREE for alumni, current students, faculty, staff, and friends.

- 5:30PM-6:00PM Discover how Edison State helped Sabra prepare for her professional law career. Plus, you can interact with a faculty member from Edison State's paralegal studies program.
- 6:00PM-7:30PM Join a mock mediation! Why is civil discourse important? Now more than ever, we're more easily divided by polarized positions. Explore the importance of civics and civility through civil discourse. Dive into a mock mediation to learn how to enhance communication and navigate difficult situations.
