We’re looking for enthusiastic students to volunteer as Social Media Ambassadors and help us promote Edison State! Showcase campus life by creating and sharing authentic photo and video content during your time on campus or while attending campus events.
What’s the role of a Social Media Ambassador?
Social Media Ambassadors will focus on capturing behind-the-scenes moments at Edison State, giving a real and relatable look at student life. This role sets you apart from Brand Ambassador, who represent the College in photo shoots and official promotional materials. As a Social Media Ambassador, you’ll help tell the story of Edison State through your unique perspective!

What’s the role of a Brand Ambassador?
As a Edison State Brand Ambassador, you'll have the exciting opportunity to participate in photo and video shoots throughout the semester. Your photos and videos will be featured in a variety of Edison State marketing materials, from billboards and our viewbook to social media, the website, and other print and digital ads. It’s a great way to build your personal brand, gain valuable experience for your resume, and connect with others across campus.
What to Expect at Photo and Video Shoots
Get ready for an exciting and fun experience! Photo and video shoots are scheduled each semester, taking place at various locations across the Edison State campus. You’ll have the chance to meet new people, interact with fellow students, and have a blast while our talented photo and video team captures a mix of candid and posed shots that show off the real energy of campus life. We prefer students who are comfortable in front of the camera and encourage you to be yourself. Whether speaking in a video or just having fun, it's all about showcasing your authentic self and what makes Edison State great – people like you!
What Happens After You Sign Up?
Once you sign up, you may not be called right away, but don’t worry – we have multiple shoots throughout the year, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved! When we reach out, just let us know your availability, and we’ll coordinate the perfect time for you to join in. Plus, we may invite you to bring friends along to the shoot – the more, the merrier. Other perks include merch and professional-grade headshots.
