Before you visit eCampus.
The online bookstore carries all books and required materials for Edison State courses. Through the Edison State customized eCampus online storefront, you will be able to access your course materials through a single sign-on process. Once logged in, you can view your course materials and select purchasing options that fit your needs. eCampus offers course materials at digital, new, used and rental pricing and offers varying shipping options.

Students who will not be using Financial Aid or College Credit Plus funding may purchase their books at any time.
Financial Aid and College Credit Plus charging is available two weeks before the start of the semester and closes two weeks after the start of the semester. Students must order within this timeframe to utilize excess Financial Aid and College Credit Plus funding to purchase books. Please review our calendar for semester start dates.
Quick tips for navigating eCampus.
Follow the steps below to order books.
- Visit www.edisonohio.edu and select Bookstore under Services & Support.
- Select Shop by Schedule and sign in via Your School Account. Your school account is your Edison State email address and password.
NOTE It may take up to 24 hours for your schedule to upload to the eCampus website after course registration.
- Select the required materials for each course. Please select the most affordable option for your required materials.
- Complete the secure checkout.
Financial Aid and College Credit Plus charging is available two weeks before the start of the semester and closes two weeks after the start of the semester. Students must order within this timeframe to utilize excess Financial Aid and College Credit Plus funding to purchase books.
If you are utilizing financial aid you may use excess financial aid funds to buy your books. Select the Financial Aid payment method option when completing the secure checkout.
If you choose to rent the required materials, you will need to add a credit card to complete the secure checkout process. Your credit card will not be charged if you return the rented materials to eCampus during the textbook return period.

Courses at High School Textbooks will be provided by your high school.
Courses Online or On Campus Required textbooks and materials for online and on-campus courses are FREE for students using program funding. CCP students will have a book voucher award, listed as Financial Aid loaded into their accounts. Select this payment method when completing the secure checkout.
If you choose to rent the required materials, you will need to add a credit card to complete the secure checkout process. Your credit card will not be charged if you return the rented materials to eCampus during the textbook return period.
Items outside of required course materials should be purchased on a separate order with personal payment information. Voucher purchases outside required materials will result in follow-up charges to the student.
If you are self-paying for all CCP courses, you can complete the secure checkout with your personal payment information. If self-paying for a partial schedule, you can utilize the CCP book voucher and Edison State will bill you later for materials associated with any self-pay courses.
If the charging window has closed and you still need the required course materials, please contact your Enrollment Manager or email College Credit Plus for assistance.
For orders over $59 Students will receive FREE standard shipping to home. Standard shipping is 3–5 business days.
NOTE Shipping delays can be possible during the start of the semester.
For orders under $59 Students can pay for shipping to home OR to any campus for FREE.
For orders shipped to Edison State at Piqua Pick up items in the Library and Tutoring Center.
For orders shipped to Edison State at Eaton, Greenville or Troy Pick up items at the Student Services desk.
Students who rent textbooks and materials must return items to eCampus by the rental return date. The rental return date will appear on your order confirmation email as well as in the Order History displayed in the My Account section of your eCampus account. You can complete the return process through your eCampus account.
If you selected the rental option for required course materials, you must return your textbooks to eCampus. Please see the Textbook Return Process section for more information.
If you utilize College Credit Plus funding and select to Buy Used and/or Buy New textbooks, you must return your textbooks to Edison State after the semester.

If you are returning textbooks to Edison State at Piqua—drop items off at the Internet Cafe—next to the Library/Tutoring Center. If you are returning textbooks to Edison State at Eaton, Greenville or Troy—drop items off at the Student Services desk.
The Account Information section provides a variety of information regarding your basic account information, rentals, returns, the digital bookshelf and selling textbooks. To access your Account Information, sign in and click on the person icon in the upper right corner.
You can view the following from your account
- Dashboard Provides an overall summary of your account—balances, current orders and links for Customer Service.
- My Account Provides your address, email preferences and contact information. You can edit your contact information from here.
- My Orders Lists current orders related to your account.
- Digital Bookshelf Go here to obtain codes for the Courseware and Access Codes that you have purchased.
- Manage My Rentals/Returns Use to return books and to purchase or extend a purchase.
- Sell My Textbooks Use to sell your books to the Online Bookstore or on Marketplace.
eCampus FAQs
Log into eCampus with your Edison State email address and password. Sign in via your school account.
If you don’t know your password, please contact the Edison State IT Help Desk.
If you change your password, it can take 15–30 minutes for the update to process. Please wait to try to log in to the bookstore.
No. Only items marked as required are covered by the College Credit Plus program.
The following are some terms that you will see when purchasing textbooks/course material on eCampus.
- Rent You are renting the textbook and will be required to return it at the end of the semester. Save the box that the book came in as you are responsible for shipping the textbook back at the end of the term.
- eTextbooks eTextbooks are available as online or downloadable versions—this varies based on the publisher. eTextbooks contain the same content as a print textbook. Please select carefully as returns and refunds are subject to strict limitations. You are emailed information on how to access your eTextbook as soon as your order has been processed. After placing your order, your digital product will be added to your My Account Digital Bookshelf within 24 hours.
- Buying a Courseware/Access Code This option provides a digital access code that functions as a key to gain access to digital learning materials. An access code may also be supplied within a textbook bundle, as a printed copy or in an email. After placing your order, your digital product will be added to your My Account Digital Bookshelf within 24 hours.
- Used A used item often contains highlighting, writing or notes throughout. Supplements such as access cards or CDs, even if listed in the book’s title are usually not included with a used copy.
- New Purchasing a new textbook ensures that is packaged with all of the supplements listed in the packet, such as online access cards or codes, CDs or software access.
- Inclusive Access This option provides access to required course materials directly through Blackboard. In general, you automatically have access to courseware and/or eBooks automatically, typically without needing to redeem a code.
After placing your order, you will be emailed information on how to access your digital product(s) as soon as your order has been processed. Your digital product(s) will be available in the Digital Bookshelf section of your My Account within 24 hours. Your Digital Bookshelf is accessed within eCampus using your Edison State login information. To access your code, click on Active Materials then select Click to Reveal.

You will also receive a link on your order confirmation page that will take you directly to your Digital Bookshelf.
Depending on the order specifications, your digital item(s) may display as pending until it has been fulfilled.
Digital items with a pending status are typically released after roughly 24–48 hours. Most newly purchased items are accessible within 1 to 2 hours, but it could take up to 24 hours.
When purchasing a digital access code, you could see an Awaiting Fulfillment EDO order status—stating that the item "will be added to digital bookshelf within 5 to 7 business days.” Please note this cannot be expedited, as it means we are awaiting the code from the publisher.
eBooks eFor most courses, you will see a link within Blackboard labeled "Course Materials." If you do not see this link, check with your instructor in the event that it has been labeled differently. You may also find your course materials within each course, under your navigation bar labeled Tools. Simply follow this shortcut to the eCampus Inclusive Access portal and click the Read Now button associated with your digital textbook.
Courseware How you access courseware varies based on a number of factors. We recommend that you reach out to your instructor if you need guidance.
Undergraduate students can explore options with other book vendors. Please note that excess financial aid funding can only be used through eCampus.
College Credit Plus students should still order the required materials.
If a book is truly out of stock, eCampus should allow the purchase of the material and will send a digital access code in the meantime.
