Veterinary Technology Associate of Sciences Degree
Gain the skills needed to—
- support the duties of a veterinarian in providing medical care for a variety of animals.
- asses patients, take quality radiographs, collect samples, and perform laboratory tests.
- perform dental procedures, administer anesthesia, and assist with surgical operations.
- work in animal hospitals, private veterinary clinics, or specialty veterinary offices.

The Veterinary Technology program at Edison State is accredited by American Veterinarian Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (AMVA CVTEA). Graduates can take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) and must register with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board to practice as a registered veterinary technician.
