The Wright Path Program makes the transfer process between Edison State Community College and Wright State University (Dayton or Lake)—seamless and easy. Your dream of a four-year degree is now within reach through the Wright Path program. Start at Edison State with an associate degree and transfer to Wright State to complete your bachelor's degree—and enjoy the experiences and communities at both locations.
To join the Wright Path Program, simply apply for Wright Path admission through the Wright Path portal. Once you apply, please request an official transcript from any other colleges or universities that you have attended, and have this sent to Wright State.
Your official high school transcript or equivelant may be required depending on your transfer credits. In addition, please upload your registered course list from Edison State for the Wright Path start term to which you are applying. This is needed to confirm that you are actively registered at Edison State when you start as a Wright Path student. The Wright Path team will request your Edison State transcript on your behalf.
Your application will be processed by Wright State upon submission. You can monitor the status of your application through the Wright Path portal. Once approved, you are welcome to apply for Wright State housing through the portal.
One semester prior to transitioning to Wright State, apply for Undergraduate Admission as a transfer student.
You will need a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for transition to Wright State. Additional requirements may be required depending upon your major, in order to be fully admitted.

Once you are admitted into the Wright Path Program, the next step will be to meet with academic advisors. Advisors from both Edison State and Wright State will help you develop your program of study.
Students in the Wright Path Program have the option to apply for housing at Wright State University. Students must complete a Wright Path housing application once admitted into the program. The housing application will become available in the Wright Path portal upon admission.
If you are planning to use financial aid to pay for housing, the first step is to apply for FAFSA for Edison State. Next, you will work with the Financial Aid Office at Edison State to complete the process. Wright State and Edison State will work together throughout this process to secure housing.
