Education creates opportunity for all. Your gift will provide students with the tools to succeed by providing resources to advance student success through scholarships, academic support, athletics, and more. We invite you to explore how your contribution can align with your interests to make a truly positive impact.
Edison State's dedication to quality education has established the institution as a leader in healthcare training and development. This ensures that graduates are ready to excel and contribute positively to their role within our communities. As the demand continues to grow, our commitment to students and healthcare leaders has challenged us with a deep responsibility that not only supports the legacy of excellent graduates, but highlights Edison State's role within the community and region.
Since the Edison Foundation is actively forming partnerships across the area to support the building of the nursing addition, it is imperative that we stay on track to have a fully funded, state-of-the-art facility, sooner, than later. With the addition of our RN to BSN four-year bachelor's degree, our space is limited, and the time has come to move forward. We are rapidly closing in on our $4.5 million goal to build and complete the nursing addition, with plans for students to start using the space by early 2026.
Your continued support helps us tackle the cost of Edison State’s nursing addition. By focusing on a future that upholds strong curriculum in higher education, Edison State aims to continue being at the forefront of healthcare training, development, and advances.
HONORING 50 YEARS OF GROWTH
In recent years, the Edison State Community College Piqua Campus has lost many trees due to the removal of diseased ash trees, environmental factors, and building additions. To maintain a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community, Edison State has set a goal to plant 50 trees or more as part of its 50th Anniversary celebration. The College is committed to sustaining a vibrant and appealing exterior environment that reflects the high-quality education and support services offered within.
HOW TO HELP
You can be a part of this positive effort to help strengthen the campus environment for all visitors and the community by gifting a tree, which you will have the option to dedicate. You can download an order form via the link below.
The faculty and staff of Edison State believe that the work we do at the College, shapes the lives of students and strengthens the community. Our gifts to The Edison Foundation’s Illuminate the Future Annual Employee Campaign demonstrate to our business partners, alumni, and community that we stand behind our work and, more importantly, our students. In 2023, Edison State employees raised $6,358, which helped create six student scholarships. These efforts have inspired our community to donate $127,199 since the Illuminate the Future campaign’s establishment in 2017. This campaign is an excellent chance to donate in honor or memory of someone special. The Edison Foundation will send a notice of your gift to the honoree or family members upon request. You can even direct your contribution to one of the numerous funds established to honor or remember Edison State employees, alumni, retirees, or students. The Edison Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit tax-exempt organization, which means your gift will receive a charitable income tax deduction in accordance with IRS regulations. You will receive acknowledgment and documentation of your gifts from The Edison Foundation. You can download a pledge form via the link below.

An Endowment can be established to provide a permanent and personal way for you to make a difference in the life of an Edison State student. The Edison Foundation manages an endowment by investing the original gift and then using the earnings to fund scholarships in perpetuity. The initial contribution can be paid over a period of up to five years and may be named to honor an individual or company. The Edison Foundation will also accept endowment gifts to benefit other purposes, such as faculty development, faculty chairs, childcare, instructional needs and special programs. Endowments are often created by donors who have made a bequest in their will. Contact us at 937.778.7806 for more information.
