Edison State at Troy is located in Miami County, Ohio, and was established to meet the needs of the growing healthcare industry. The Troy location is positioned to be at the center of healthcare education and training in the Upper Miami Valley. Edison State at Troy also hosts numerous general education courses and transfer pathways, College Credit Plus coursework and support to regional business via workforce training and apprenticeship opportunities. A co-location agreement with Franklin University provides students with the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's degree in healthcare beginning at Edison State at Troy and completing at Franklin University through onsite or online course offerings.

College Credit Plus (CCP) offers a unique opportunity for students to enhance and further their educational and career objectives while still in high school. CCP students can earn college and high school credit concurrently, accelerating their college careers at no cost.
Edison State at Troy welcomes students from all high schools in the county and is committed to providing the highest quality education and service to students, guidance counselors, teachers and administrators. We have an Enrollment Manager/CCP Advisor working out of several county schools, and who is available at area high schools at designated times. Speak to your guidance counselor for available times.
Jumpstart your educational goals by completing your general education requirements at Edison State at Troy. Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGs) provide information on general and specific education coursework that students can complete and transfer.

Edison State at Troy partners with multiple agencies to ensure well-rounded educational opportunities for the communities we serve. Through these partnerships we are able to foster excellent community relationships and build lasting connections to the residents of Miami County.
Several programs can be completed in full at the Edison State at Troy location utilizing a combination of in-class and online course work. Complete your associate degree, certificate or short-term technical certificate without leaving the county. Transfer options are also available at the Troy location. Students can take advantage of a substantial savings in tuition by completing their first 60 credit hours in Troy before transferring to a four-year college or university.

*IMPORTANT Federal Financial Aid is not available for Short-Term Technical Certificate programs, but scholarship assistance may be available. Students pursuing a Short-Term Technical Certificate may need to satisfy course prerequisites which may include placement testing.
You can complete your general education classes and courses required for program admission right here at the Edison State at Troy location. This includes Pre-Nursing, Pre-Medical Lab Technician, and Pre-Physical Therapy Assistant.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training at Edison State provides students with a local classroom and clinical environment led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. This accelerated course allows students to begin working as a STNA in just a few weeks. STNA training is scheduled throughout the year and includes classroom, online and clinical experience.
