Edison State to Recognize Administrative Professionals With April 22 Event

Edison State Community College will present a special program on Wednesday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Robinson Theater at the Piqua Campus in recognition of Administrative Professionals Day. The event, which occurs annually, salutes the contributions of office support staff throughout the area.

The program is open to all office support professionals, including administrative assistants, executive assistants, office managers, and other employees who provide administrative support for their organizations. Edison State also encourages supervisors and managers to attend alongside their valued administrative team members.

This year’s program includes networking, lunch, and door prizes. Dr. Sarah Fulk will present an interactive session titled “Discover Your Personality.” She’ll help attendees identify their individualized personality color scheme to understand their unique strengths and stressors, gaining insight into core values and preferences. The session emphasizes the importance of appreciating the diverse ways people think, communicate, and collaborate. Participants will learn practical strategies to improve communication, collaboration, and self-awareness, which will help them navigate differences, minimize misunderstandings, and contribute to a more cohesive workplace.

Fulk is a dedicated professional development specialist and former classroom educator recognized for her commitment to empowering others and advancing learning. A distinguished Teacher of the Year honoree, she brings extensive classroom experience, research-informed expertise, and a steadfast dedication to instructional excellence to every professional learning opportunity she facilitates.
