Edison State Accepting Nominations for Alumni Achievement Awards

Edison State Community College is currently accepting nominations for its Alumni Achievement Awards. Established in 2025, the awards recognize and celebrate outstanding alumni and supporters of Edison State who have made significant contributions to both the College and broader community. These awards not only honor the individual achievements of inductees but also highlight their impact on Edison State’s rich history and legacy. The accomplishments of these individuals serve as an inspiration for future generations of students, encouraging them to pursue excellence and engage actively with their community.

Managed by the Office of Alumni Engagement in collaboration with the Athletics Department, the Edison State Alumni Achievement Awards feature two main categories of recognition that reflect the diverse contributions of nominees: the Distinguished Alumni Award and the Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors individual Edison State alumni who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their respective fields after graduating. The College recognizes these inductees not only for their professional success but also for their commitment to the values of Edison State, such as leadership, service, and community involvement. Their stories serve to motivate current students and illustrate the possibilities that await them after graduation.

The Athletic Hall of Fame honors both individuals and teams associated with Edison State athletics, including alumni student-athletes who excelled in their sports and displayed exemplary sportsmanship and leadership. Additionally, it includes those in supporting roles who have made substantial contributions to the athletic programs at Edison State. The Athletic Hall of Fame aims to preserve and celebrate the achievements of these athletes and supporters, ensuring the College community remembers and appreciates their legacy.
