Edison State Holding Fall Open House on October 22

Edison State Community College will host a Fall Open House at the Piqua Campus on Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a flexible, come-and-go experience where prospective students can explore academic programs, participate in hands-on activities, meet faculty and staff, tour campus, connect with transfer partners, and receive personalized enrollment support.

Guests can:

• Explore academic programs: Visit classrooms and labs, meet faculty, and learn about programs that align with their interests and career goals.
• Participate in hands-on experiences: Try interactive activities and demonstrations offered by academic programs across campus.
• Attend information sessions: Learn about admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and the enrollment process through short presentations offered throughout the event.
• Get financial aid assistance: Receive one-on-one assistance from financial aid staff to get answers to FAFSA questions, learn about scholarship opportunities, and receive personalized guidance on paying for college.
• Tour campus: Join a guided campus tour and explore the spaces, services, and resources available to Edison State students.
• Connect with transfer partners: Learn how an Edison State degree can help students achieve their long-term educational goals. Meet representatives from Franklin University, Tiffin University, and Wright State University to explore bachelor’s degree opportunities and seamless transfer pathways.
• Plan their futures: Get personalized assistance with admissions, advising, career planning, and completing the Edison State application.

The event will include Getting Started at Edison State, a presentation on admissions and financial aid, at 5:50 and 6:45 p.m. and campus tours at 6:15 and 7:10 p.m.
