PTA Application Deadline
Apply for the Physical Therapist Assistant associate degree program beginning September 1. Submit your application by preferred date of January 31 of the year of desired admission into the program. Applications will be accepted on a case-by-case basis up until May 31 of the year of desired admission to the program. Applicants submitting by January 31 will be given preferential admission to the program.

Work Under the Direction of a Physical Therapist to Help Others
Edison State’s PTA program allows students to use their motivational, creative, problem-solving, and people skills to help others. Under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistants work as a team to provide rehabilitative therapies to various populations, including athletes, children, adults of various ages, and those recovering from an illness or injury. These therapies improve daily independence and quality of life by maximizing balance, strength, alignment, coordination, flexibility, and overall mobility.
The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education accredits the Edison State PTA program.
