1. Complete onboarding paperwork online:
- You should receive a link sent to your personal email address you used when you applied for the position. Access the “Workable” link sent to you to complete the onboarding documents.
2. Complete I-9 Form & Bring Documents I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification:
You must provide proper documentation to an HR representative no later than your hire date. The hire date means the first day of work for pay. Failure to bring proper documentation and identification may result in delay in your start date, so don't forget!

*Please note we need original forms of documents, one selection from List A or a combination of one selection from List B and one selection from List C.

3. Get Employee ID#:
Your employee ID# identifies you as an employee and gives you secure access to online and campus services. You will receive your ID# and account activation information/email access from one of our HR representatives before your start date.
4. Get Paid:
Edison State uses Direct Deposit. To set up your Direct Deposit and receive your paycheck, fill out your direct deposit form (contained in your onboarding documents). You will also need to provide the following:
- One bank-provided document (choose one):
- Voided Check
- Direct Deposit letter from your bank
- Direct Deposit form generated from your bank's website.
